POWER LAB is the theme for
Vaction Bible School 2008 July 14-18
We’re sure your kids will have a great Vacation Bible
School experience like we had in 2007 at Avalanche Ranch.
There’s always plenty of action at Calvary Lutheran Church in July!
Our program provides fun and memorable Bible-learning
activities for kids of all ages. Each day kids will sing
catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, nibble healthy
snacks, take on a Daily Challenge to let God’s love grow
into their homes, experience electrifying Bible adventures,
collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God’s Word,
and create Bible Point Crafts they’ll take home and play
with all summer long.
Vacation Bible School
is great fun for everyone; even teenagers will enjoy signing
on as crew leaders who help younger children. Children going
into kindergarten through 5th grade will be part of 4 - 6
member multi-age Crews that travel to each of the activity stations.
Preschoolers (must be age 3 by July 1, and potty
trained) will be with their same age peers, but will also
get to visit all of the stations.
And parents, grandparents, and friends are invited to
join us each day at noon because that’s when we’ll be having
a Special Event - a daily celebration of God’s love you
won’t want to miss, followed by lunch for those who want to
stay.
So mark your calendars for
July 14 - 18 2008.
The adventure begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:15 p.m.
followed by lunch.

Volunteers of all ages are needed to make experiences like
POWER LAB
a success. Those entering 6th grade and older are encouraged
to get involved. We need people to help decorate, lead
Crews, and lead and assist at Activity Stations. The
stations are Sing and Play (music), Bible Blast (Bible
stories), Wacky Works Crafts and Missions, Test Tube Treats, Hyperspeed Games, Cinema Science,
and Faith Fusion Finale! No experience required to
help! Can’t be there the entire week? Come join us for those
days that you can!
