High Seas Expedition
is the
theme for Vacation Bible School July 12-16, 2010!
Are your kids ready for the voyage of a
lifetime?
That is just what your children will
participate in at High Seas Expedition, where kids explore the mighty love of
God! Calvary Lutheran Church will be
sailing away with high sea adventures the week of July 12-16, 2010!
High Seas Expedition is filled with
incredible Bible-learning that experiences that kids see, hear, touch, and even
taste. Bible Point crafts, team-building
games, cool Bible songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the High Seas
Expedition activities that help faith flow into real life. Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see
evidence of God in everyday life – something we call God Sightings. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot! Your kids will also participate in a hands-on
mission project that will help children in other parts of the world.
High Seas Expedition is great fun for
everyone; even teenagers will enjoy signing on as Crew Leaders who help younger
children. Children going into 1st
through 5th grade will be part of 4-6 member multi-age Ship Crews
that travel to each of the High Seas Stations.
Kindergartners and preschoolers (must be age 3 by July 1, 2010 and
potty-trained) will be with other 3,4, and 5-year olds, but will also get to
visit all of the stations. We also offer
for those under 3, the Tugboats Tots Station, which can be visited with an
adult after the initial opening.
Each day concludes at noon at “The
Floating Finale” – a celebration that gets all participants involved in living
what they’ve learned. Family members and
friends are encouraged to join us daily for this special time.
So mark your calendars – the fun begins
at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 12:20 p.m. followed by lunch for those that wish to
stay. Registration forms are available
