A NEW MINISTRY AT CALVARY: LAY CARE GIVING
Calvary proudly announces its Lay Care Giving Ministry is now in place. Specially trained members will be contacting those who can’t come to church for worship, maybe due to illness, transportation challenges, etc. Calvary’s concern for them will be expressed through prayer and where desired, by telephone contact, home and/or hospital visits, and private home communion brought by our lay care givers.
A group of members has already volunteered and been trained; however, more lay visitors are warmly welcome to receive the same education for this critical ministry. Arlana Holland is the director of this ministry assisted by Pastor Hand and Deacon Mel Kieschnick. As Coordinator for Mission Outreach, Janine Hand is providing administrative support.
Anyone wanting a lay care visit should call Quinn in the church office. Thank you.
