Lay Care Giving Ministry
Calvary’s Lay Care Giving Ministry has specially trained members who contact and visit those who can’t come to church for worship - maybe due to illness or transportation challenges. Calvary’s concern for them is expressed through prayer and where desired, by telephone contact, home and/or hospital visits, and private home communion brought by our lay care givers.
A group of members has already volunteered and been trained; however, more lay visitors are warmly welcome to receive the same education for this critical ministry. Pastor Hand and Dr. Mel Kieschnick are the directors of this ministry. Anyone wanting a lay care visit should call Quinn in the office at # 858-755-2855 or email her at email@example.com. Thank you.
