Hurricanes Florence and Michael have threatened more than 1 million of our neighbors in the Carolinas and elsewhere. As a Church, we’re standing ready to assist our neighbors through their recovery. Your gifts ensure that the church will be able to provide help and hope for those whose homes have been devastated or who have been otherwise affected by these and other hurricanes for years to come. Your gifts designated for hurricane response will be used entirely (100%) for direct response until it is complete. Give now to support survivors of disasters. You may also donate to Lutheran Disaster Relief.
If you need a place to pray, our church is open to you.
We always need volunteers to help around the church. Please click here to see where you might like to share your time and talents!

A NEW MINISTRY AT CALVARY: LAY CARE GIVING
Calvary proudly announces its Lay Care Giving Ministry is now in place. Specially trained members will be contacting those who can’t come to church for worship, maybe due to illness, transportation challenges, etc. Calvary’s concern for them will be expressed through prayer and where desired, by telephone contact, home and/or hospital visits, and private home communion brought by our lay care givers.
A group of members has already volunteered and been trained; however, more lay visitors are warmly welcome to receive the same education for this critical ministry. is the director of this ministry assisted by Pastor Hand and Deacon Mel Kieschnick. As Coordinator for Mission Outreach, Janine Hand is providing administrative support.
Anyone wanting a lay care visit should call Quinn in the church office. Thank you.
