Music in Worship
Calvary’s traditional choir is a non-auditioned choral ensemble that meets on Wednesdays from 7:30-8:45 pm (September-June). The choir is made up of singers of all backgrounds and experience levels, from little experience to years of singing. Members explore a variety of musical styles in worship, learn and develop vocal technique and ensemble skills, and experience the joy of serving in the Lord’s ministry as they provide music to enhance the worship experience. CLC Ensemble is a contemporary ensemble that provides musical support for worship services, performing contemporary worship music in styles such as popular, country, or gospel. Members play guitar, percussion, bass, piano, vocals and additional instruments such as harmonica, saxophone or flute. For more information contact the Director of Music or Pastor Hand.
One World Children's Choir and Vocal Academy
The One World Children’s Choir & Vocal Academy @ Calvary is now enrolling grades 1-12! OWCC is a non-profit outreach organization led by our own Dr. Mitchell that provides vocal and musical training, promotes cultural understanding and language learning, and provides international service opportunities for selected youth ambassadors. If you saw their concerts last year with Westwind Brass and Mariachi Diamante, or their amazing project in Ensenada, Mexico with the Azteca Youth Choir/Orchestra & Reino de los Niños orphanage, you know you won’t want to miss them this year!!
